LocalRecall, a novel, location aware, task reminder application to help you remember your important tasks!Does your day run like clockwork? Probably not.
Do you have task reminders for daily tasks but ignore them constantly? Probably.
Wouldn't it be great if you could get a reminder for a task when you can actually do something about it?    Yeah, like when you arrive home or at work.If this sounds like you then LocalRecall can help!Instead of timed reminders, LocalRecall reminds you of tasks when you arrive or depart from a location of your choice.  LocalRecall links the location with the reminder of the task.  The idea is that you will get a reminder when you are actually at or near an appropriate place in which to act on the reminder. The reminder location might not even be at the location of the task!Some of the tasks LocalRecall can remind you to do without setting a timed reminder:
    Do chores when you get home 
    Send that important email when you get to work
    Pick up milk on the way home from work
    Ring friends and family on arriving home
    Pickup wine before getting to a friend's dinner party

LocalRecall reminds you of your task at a location, rather than a time in the future.
Example use
========
You just realised that  you need to buy milk on the way home from work at the local grocer. The problem is that you don't know when you are going to finish for the day. So a timed reminder won't do. With LocalRecall you can add a task (Buy milk) with a reminder displaying when you actually leave your work. Alternatively, you could have the reminder shown when you enter your home zone or a zone halfway in-between!

How does it work?
===========
LocalRecall uses the built in GPS and cell information to find your location and check that you are in a zone. You can choose between high accuracy, high power mode(using GPS) and low accuracy, low power mode (Cell towers) to best suite your needs. The Low power mode is the default background mode.Tasks have a reminder which is displayed when the current location of the user enters or exits (or both) a zone on a map.
The zones have an address which is located at the center and a radius which describes a circular shape on the map.While running in the background, your current location is analysed to determine if you have entered or exited the zones. Appropriate tasks then display a reminder.Tips on use

Make zones as big as reasonable to improve reminder relevancy.
If you use the low power settings please note the accuracy is reduced and you may need to increase the zone radius for proper detection
Small zones might trigger when switching from low power (background) to high accuracy (foreground) mode
