This is the version of Dropp for iPhone / iPod Touch.
Dropp is made of magic that lets you send location-based messages and photos to your friends and even people you don't know who visit a particular place, with a few twists thrown in that make Dropp really special. Ever heard of time capsules? Dropp lets you leave place capsules. How might you use something like this? The sky's the limit, but here are some ideas we've thought of:• Give a friend a virtual tour of a city you've been to on the other side of the world by leaving dropps in places you know they'll visit.
• Dropp a romantic note in an unexpected place.
• Dropp menu item recommendations for anyone who visits a particular restaurant.
• Dropp notes for yourself around town.
• Dropp a note for your significant other at the grocery store to remember the milk!
• Scavenger hunts
• Setting up location based-promotions or contestsNOTE: Dropp uses a low-power location services mode in the background to alert you of Dropps around you.
