Explore a landscape of over fifty words through transformation, anagram, and synonym puzzles. Enjoy seven word islands, connected through seven word pair puzzles. Try the full WordIslands game for the challenge of thousands of words in over 180 islands, connected by over 1000 word pair puzzles (including antonyms and homonyms). Hints are available at www.wordislands.com.
Word transformation is the fabric of WordIslands. Touch a word to select it, then tap a letter from the alphabet to change a single letter in the selected word, transforming it into a nearby word. Press and hold on a word to see a brief definition.
Word puzzles (anagrams, antonyms, synonyms, and homonyms) link the Islands and become active once you reach a word.
Enter an anagram, antonym, synonym, or homonym of the selected word. If the word you enter matches the puzzle word you are taken to a new Island to explore.
The info panel allows you to check your progress, display the alphabet on the right or the left, or start a new game.
Word connectivity and color provide valuable clues.
