The Theremin is a remarkable musical instrument; you play it by bringing your hands close to a pair of antennae, one for pitch, the other for volume. As the iPad doesn't have the same sort of sensors, we use the next best thing -- the touch interface.Turn the virtual theremin on, and slide your finger vertically to control pitch, and horizontally to control volume. You can reconfigure the background image for visual cues on where you position your hand for a given pitch. Using multitouch, very fine control of pitch is possible.You can adjust the tone of the synthesizer through a few simple sliders and toggle buttons.Secret Base Design is an independent (and part time) software development team. We're having fun developing small applications, and hope you enjoy playing with them!The Virtual Theremin app is now universal, and should run on iPads, iPhones, and iPod touch platforms.Support for multitouch input has been added. This gives much greater control over pitch and volume, as the positions of the touch locations are averaged.
