This version of Tracing Paper is optimized for the iPad, meaning that you can enjoy the full Tracing Paper experience on the big screen.

Tracing Paper is a universal application for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch that helps you practice and improve your drawing and sketching skills. Tracing Paper is a simple yet elegant application that gives you blank translucent canvas with a clean and simple grid below which you can trace anything you wish as often as you like. I think it will be great for anyone that wants to learn how to draw or for kids that just want to play around!After choosing a photo from your library you can adjust its size and location under the canvas, then you simply trace and shade whatever you wish using your finger and if you make a mistake simply choose the eraser tool and erase your mistake (also, you can use the eraser creatively to help add details in ways that are different than simply drawing), or if you want more accuracy than an eraser there is undo/redo support for up to 5 actions. For those hard to see details zoom the canvas in for further detail!After you are done, wow the world and save your masterpiece to your Photo Library where you can later easily share it via Email or in the future, MMS, or even tethered to your Desktop via USB (where supported, this is still a work in progress but it is available on the iPad).Tracing Paper features:
- Support for tracing any photo from your albums
- Gallery mode on iPad to browse, load and edit previous images as well as manage images (eg: deleting or sending)
- Shading support just like a real pencil, draw over the same area multiple times to shade it darker
- Shading using a brush for larger areas
- Moving and resizing of the image to trace to zoom in and out and focus on the details that matter
- Undo/redo up to five previous actions
- Saving your creations to your Photo library
- Sending your traces via email
- USB document sharing support with your Desktop for the iPad (still fine-tuning feature)I am definitely excited about this project and want to continue improving it as much as possible.
