Timepieces recreates the look, feel, and function of 60 (now 75) different antique time keeping instruments on your iPad. Designed and implemented with a strict attention to detail this application pays homage to the watch and clock makers of the past who constructed these intricate analog mechanisms and designed their aesthetic faces and cases.A WHOLE COLLECTION
Within the 75 different clocks provided in Timepieces you will find automotive clocks, world war II era aviation clocks, ship's chronometers, and many different kinds of pocket watches.Run Timepieces while your iPad is charging or on a stand to turn it into a wonderful desk accessory. The application can be configured to automatically display different clocks over periods of time ranging from 1 minute to 1 day. The automatic switching can be done amongst all clocks within the application or only among those that you have tagged as favorites.MORE THAN JUST SKINS
As in the real world each clock provides a different set of features and functions. Naturally all display the current time. However, some of the special features you will find among the clocks within the Timepieces collection include:- Complications such as day of the week, day of the month, and month dials.- Display of the current phase of the moon.- Stopwatch/timer functions including one chronometer with a split-seconds function.- Winding strength indicators to help the owner remember when the clock or watch needs to be wound.
