Make sure to get the right server for your operating system! Once unzipped open up the application.
If on a Mac simply tap on the Bonjour server for the computer you have installed the server to.
If on a Windows PC type in the IP address as displayed in the server window on the desktop, into the iPad's browser and tap go. The app will load with the most recently used layout, to change skin tap the mode button, this can be done at any point through the game. Currently the app allows casting of any powers or weapons as well as other commonly used commands, we are currently working on an update to a universal app that will allow you to use your iPhone to navigate in place of your WASD or mouse buttons. This will be available as a FREE update.*It is advised to open port 5583 on your firewall to ensure that communication between the iPad and your PC is at its fastest otherwise you may experience some delay*Although Tap Play is compatible with most MMO's that allow you to rebind keys such as WoW, STO, CoH, it is designed to be compatible straight from the store with STO's default key arrangement, and WoW with minimal setup.
If you are unsure which button does what we would advise you to go into the games options setting and reassign your keys, simply select which power you want to activate and press the corresponding button on the iPad – simple!System Requirements: Microsoft Windows XP or higher, or Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. Please note that running software within virtual environments such as VMWare or Virtual PC is not supported at this time. Copy of MMO with active subscription is required to gain full benefit from this app though is not strictly essential.Disclaimer: This app is not designed to allow hacking, macroing or any other sort of game modification.
