FastERTX - This App will allow users to see all the HCA North Texas Hospitals wait times.

This version of FastERTX is optimized for the iPad, meaning that you can enjoy the full FastERTX experience on the big screen.

This App will allow users to see all the HCA North Texas Hospitals wait times. This application is not intended if you have an emergency.IF YOU HAVE AN EMERGENCY PLEASE CALL 911 immediatelyThe user will be able to see all the HCA ER wait times in a 30 mile radius based on:
1) Current location of user or
2) User enters his/her zip code and the app will determine the location of the nearest HCA er.
The user can press the list tab and be able to see all the ER wait times starting with the closest er. Each ER will have the address, hospital telephone number. The user can press on the ER name and the app will show you a map of the area around the hospital. At the top will be a hyperlink with address selected of er and the user can click here to get directions.
Home Screen: If the user clicks on the wait time, the name of that ERwill pop up with a small blue arrow that will allow the user to select: visit hospital website, call hospital, route from your location. On the IPhone the user will be able to call. On the iPad the user will not be able to call.
911 tab: Users can call 911 immediately from within the app if they have an emergency.
Medical Records tab: Google health has been added to the app. Users will be able to enter their medical information on www.google.com/health and their medical profile will show up under medical records after user logs in. Here user can see the following fields: Self parameter, conditions, medications, allergies, procedures, test results, immunizations, and insurance. All information must be entered on the web and this app will allow you to securely access this information from within the app.
HCA Tab: HCA North Texas Division is a leading hospital provider and comprehensive network of 11 hospitals. For more information visit: www.hcanorthtexas.com
Favorite hospital: patients will often have a favorite HCA hospital. The app allows users to pick which HCA hospital is their favorite and the app will change the color of the ER wait times on the home screen as well as under the list of ERs. Both icons will turn blue to indicate this is the favorite hospital.

About Our ER Wait Times ER wait times are approximate and provided for informational purposes only. If you are having a medical emergency, call 9-1-1. ER wait times track the time it takes to see a qualified medical professional - defined as a Doctor, Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.ER wait times are calculated on a four-hour rolling average updated every 30 minutes. Time starts when the patient arrives in the ER and ends when the patient is greeted by a qualified medical professional. Patients are triaged upon arrival and seen by a qualified medical professional in priority order based on their presenting complaint and reason for their visit.
In order to better serve the community, HCA will be able to see which zip codes are requesting the ER wait times but will not know who is requesting this data.
