How to useThe use of Cashy-POS depends of your business. You can freely combine categories with product numbers (PLU). Generate your own mix to best fit your business!If you own a fashion-shop it probably makes no sense to use the "each product gets its product-number"-system because your products are changing all the time, which results in a huge administrative work (create products, assign barcode, wholesale price, …). It makes more sense to work with categories only (skirts, shoes, pants, , shirts, …) or by brand (Levi's, Wrangler; Lee, Mustang, …). Additionally you can mix categories with product-numbers, for example if you want to know more about the sales of a special model from these Wrangler jeans.In a hairdresser-salon you mainly sell the same products and services all the time. There are not so many changes during the year and so will be a good example for the "each product gets its product-number"-system. You create as many products as you are selling and assign them a product-number (PLU-Code). Also you can assign these products to a category (like men cut, women cut, washing, shampoos, gels, …), which will result in more detailed sales reports.
