WhizBase is a full-featured scripting language for developing dynamic web pages, with the main focus on effortless online database publishing. Besides being very easy to use and feature rich, it also includes the free development tool, "WhizBase Power Pack Wizards", for creating reports and HTML forms. This makes it suitable even for beginners, with only basic web design knowledge.
Additionally, it is highly configurable and includes many advanced features, which makes it a very powerful tool in the hands of a professional.
WhizBase supports almost every available database type. It has built-in native support for MS Access 2.0 to 2007, dBASE III, IV and 5.0, Paradox 3.x, 4.x and 5.x, FoxPro 2.0, 2.5, 2.6 and 3.0, MS Excel files, TXT and CSV files. Using ODBC or ADO connection strings it can be used with any database type (including MySQL, MS SQL, Oracle, Firebird, Informix, etc.).
It runs under Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/Me/XP/2003/Vista/2008/Win7 and supports many popular Windows-based web servers that support standard CGI applications and filtering including IIS version 4 to version 7, Xitami, Abyss Web Server, Apache web server, KF Web Server, Quick'n Easy Web Server, IQ Web FTP Server, MicroWeb.
With WhizBase, you can create a web page with access to online database in a matter of minutes or an online catalog in just a few hours. Since the data is available through online database, site visitors are always provided with up-to-date information. Working with WhizBase is considerably easier compared to programming with ASP or PHP.
