Take full control of Windows registry keys easily.

At times when editing the Windows registry keys you may recieve a dialog box with the message: Error Creating Key – Cannot create key: You do not have the requisite permission to create a new key. This is because the Windows operating system will not allow you to make changes in certain system critical registry keys.

Even though you can manually take control of the required Windows registry keys, the process might prove to be a hassle. RegOwnit is a standalone tool that lets you do so easily!

It allows you to take ownership of a Registry key using Administrator, HomeUsers or the current Logged On User account.

You have to simply select the location of the registry key and enter the name of the key you want to take control of in the space provided. Then choose the user account and then whether you want to apply Full or Read Only Permissions to a Registry Key. Having done that enter the registry key name in the space provided and click Apply.

RegOwnit 1.0 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. RegOwnit is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
