Pakrat was developed to be a graphical replacement for the standard bspzip program, that allows you to view, add, and delete files that are stored inside compiled HL2 map (.BSP) files.
This allows you to embed custom texture, sound, and model files into a BSP file. The embedded files will be automatically loaded from the map when the map is loaded by the
game, and so you do not have to distribute the custom files separately.
Pakrat has the ability to scan the BSP file to find which custom files are used in the map, and add them automatically. Files may also be added manually.
Requirements:
- Java Runtime Environment (version 1.5.0 or later)
