Launchy - The most efficient way to open folders

Launchy is a free and open source application launcher that comes as a highly efficient solution for opening folders, files, programs and websites on your computer. The program will try to guess the program or file that you are looking for and launch it immediately without you having to search through the start menu.

Launchy remains invisible until you press a custom hotkey or the Alt+Space key combination. Then you can start typing the program you wish to find and Launchy will search the closest match through the list of programs installed on your computer. Once you find the program all you have to do is hit ENTER and the program will be launched. You can hide Launchy by pressing the Alt+Space combination again or the ESCAPE key.

Through plug-ins you can add even more capabilities to Launchy such as opening and controlling web searches, media players, system power options, kill running tasks and other useful actions.

Launchy 2.5.0 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. Launchy is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
