Don't Panic Publisher's Description
Don't want to get busted by your boss or your teacher playing Solitaire, chatting or surfing the web? Close (hide) and open multiple programs with the click of a button. So you won't have to panic anymore...
SFX RAR Install included (contains all Don't Panic! files and folders hidden... ;) ...so you'll never get busted using it!)
v1.2.0 (Build 445) - STABLE BUILD
CRITICAL BUG FIX: (In most cases) Don't Panic! wouldn't delete Internet Explorer history, cache and cookies! Now it even works with Internet Explorer 7! Help file updated to reflect latest changes Other minor changes, bug fixes and UI tweaksv1.1.2 (Build 431) - BETA BUILD
CRITICAL BUG FIX: When running Don't Panic! at startup it used to raise a critical 'Invalid filename' error! When automaticlly checking for updates users will now receive a "Please wait..." window! (so it won't look like Don't Panic! has crushed) Donate link added to Help in the main menu Help file updated (with a few more content describing the new features) Important code optimizations Other minor changes, bug fixes and UI tweaksv1.1.1 (Build 398) - BETA BUILD
MAJOR BUG FIX: Don't Panic! wasn't able to hide certain programs because of their difference between exe name and process name! Options window changes: You can now use keywords to close/hide software! Once saved in the blacklist Don't Panic! automaticlly closes/hides the window(s) (software) which has (have) the specified keyword in the title! Choose between cleanly closing a program and uncleanly (but faster) terminating a program! Be aware that in some cases closing a program won't work! (ex: When having a Microsoft Word or Notepad unsaved document, it will ask if you want to save it!) Mute speakers (Master Volume) when hiding programs Check for updates automaticlly at Don't Panic! startup (run WebUpdate) Other minor changes, bug fixes and UI tweak| UBCD4WIN 3.2.2 Allow you to repair any computer problem |

| Apple hot release: The iPhone 2.2 update
The big 2.2 iPhone update finally arrived and it’s ready to be abused. The update itself is the biggest one so far, weighting 246 Megs ( compared to 238 Mb for the 1.1 iPhone update ). I’m guessing if you own an iPhone you already are aware of the changes brought by the 2.2 update, [...] |
| Google added themes for Gmail
Some people are reporting that they can now select a theme and apply it within their Gmail account. It seems that Google is finally looking on the personalization side of Gmail and started adding themes. I can’t confirm this feature at this point, but as you can see from the picture, it’s not a rumor. Technospot [...] |

| The JS-909 Javascript drum machine
I don’t know if you are a sound enthusiast but I’m guessing you know what a drum machine is and what it stands for. Most of the virtual drum machines on the market are embedded in professional sound mixers, music making software suites or freeware programs. Well, it seems that Cameron Adams, a JS coder [...] |
| The Wikiquote and Wikipedia screensavers
The only screensaver I used so far was the clock screensaver in Windws and the default one in Mac OS, so ya, not a big fan. Those 2 screensavers turned my eye tho, the ideea behind them it’s what it makes them unique and appealing. But let’s take them one at a time and shortly, [...] |

The Washington Post just reported that an U.S. based hosting company was responsible for almost 75 percent of all the world wide internet spam. | The speech to search iPhone application from Google
Now, voice commands on the phone aren’t something new, but searching Google from your phone using your voice is. The good part is that it’s here and we can use it, the bad part is that this is only available for the Apple’s iPhone. Now I suspect that this feature will reach the Android market [...] |
