Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools - Utility to test any EIDE hard drive

Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools is a web-based utility for testing internal and external EIDE hard-drives.
Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools was developed for installation of Western Digital EIDE hard drives and is available for DOS and Windows operating systems.
If a HDD already is installed on your PC with Windows 98SE operating system or greater, it is recommended that you use Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools for Windows.

If your system is new and doesn’t have an operating system installed or you want to copy the contents of a boot drive, it is recommended that you use the Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools for DOS.

Instructions:

- Extract the setup executable file and run it.
- After installing, you can run the program at prompt or manually from the program menu or desktop shortcut.
- You will have the following options available:
- “View installation tutorial” – A set of instructions that will show you how to connect the new hard drive to your computer.
- “Setup your hard drive” – Perform necessary settings for a hard drive that is already connected to the computer.
- “Drive-to-drive copy” – Copy specific files and folders or all of them from one drive to another.
- “Hard drive information” – Technical information and jumper settings for your hard drive.

Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools 11.2 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. Western Digital Data Lifeguard Tools is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
