A file management utility.


FileTool is a simple, easy to use, bulk file managing tool, developed on a simple name match and replacement scheme. Operations on matched files include renaming, copying, and moving, and arbitrary processing can be defined.


FileTool features :


- simple file selection and new name creation, based on Windows DOS

- command line and console with python environment, variables, simple python statements

- define arbitrary processing of files with applications or cmd.com operations

- scripts

- defined variables are retained with the shelve module

- undo for common operations
