Hmonitor Description
Hmonitor - Monitors and displays hardware infomation
Hmonitor checks the temperature of any component on your computer with a sensor. HMonitor also has alarms that can be set when the temperature goes too high and also has built in software cooling.
Hardware sensors monitor utilizes sensor chips on smart motherboards to track system and CPU temperatures, voltages and cooling fans. By quickly catching an overheated computer, you can prevent disasters such as system instability or damage.
The program is resource friendly, resides quietly in the system tray, and continually monitors the various parameters. By clicking its icon, you'll view real time values for each component. Hmonitor supports all Windows OS: Windows 9X/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003, inluding X64/EM64T editions.
Once it has detected an overheating state, Hmonitor can perform a number of tasks. First, it can sound an
audio alarm, then shut down the system or optionally execute any selected application (i.e. sending E-mail alert messages to system administrator). It can also log information each minute to a file on your hard drive.
From the settings dialog, Hmonitor enables you to set "yellow zone" and "red zone" temperatures for the motherboard and CPU. You can also set minimum fan RPM before a warning is issued. In addition, nominal values and thresholds can be adjusted for voltage parameters.
Features:
· Low resources usage (about 1Mb);
· Customizable alarms/user application call;
· Dynamic system tray status icon;
· Current values are visible as a hint for tray icon;
· Detailed/warning log files can be produced;
· Wide range of Mainboard vendors supported (for details, see List of supported Motherboards);
· Software cooling (Pro license needed);
· CPU Throttling (Pro license needed);
· nVidia graphics cards monitoring (Pro license needed);
· ATA/SATA HDDs temperatures monitoring (Pro license needed);
· XP/Vista PerfMon Interface support (Commercial Pro license needed);
· WMI Interface support (Commercial Pro license needed);
· Service release/DCOM server (for Site license only);

"DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY USE ANOTHER monitoring"
by sgtbuck989 on Jun 21, 2011
When I tried to install my back up Hmonitor stated my registration was no longer good. I sent an email to his support email address and never heard anything back. I then sent him a private message on his forum where he stated he never received my email. He failed to answer any of my questions and I think he was trying to say to re register it. Then my MB finally gave out so I had to wait for a replacement. I got my system back up and running and tried to reregister Hmonitor. I got a nasty email stating I was tiring to put Hmonitor on a second computer.
I sent a reply back to him letting him know that I had to replace the MB CPU and HD. This is his email to me.....Do you mean that i should work for free??? FYI: Unlike usual software, Hmonitor is HARDWARE RELATED utility, and I need to work hard to support each new hardware configuration. So, for new mainboard, new license is required. Good Luck! The program itself is available free on the site. Next, you probably read only first line of the message... Here is the copy again: Unlike usual software, Hmonitor is HARDWARE RELATED utility, and I need to work hard to support each new hardware configuration. So, for new mainboard, new license is required. For dummies: If i wont spend time to support new boards, the program wont work and your license will be useless anyway ;-) It is the final reply, you are included into black list from now. Good Luck! Pros
Good program if you pay $30 and you dont upgrade any parts or have any parts fail.Cons
Very bad customer service wants you to re-buy licenses every time you upgrade a part or has a system part go bad. NOT FREE ONLY RUNS 10 mins.+Summary
Do not give your money to this guy. He has 0 customer service skills and if you have to replace any parts in your system weather you’re upgrading or part goes bad he will try to make you purchase another licenses. He is also rude in his emails and does not even attempt to answer your questions. I had a power spike and had to replace my power supply and hard drive.When I tried to install my back up Hmonitor stated my registration was no longer good.
