Author's Description
Lutz Roeder's .NET Reflector - Is the class browser, explorer for .NET.
Lutz Roeder's .NET Reflector is a free application designed to browse, analyze, decompile and debug .NET code. By using this program you will be able to easily view, navigate, search, decompile and analyze .NET assemblies in C#, Visual Basic and IL.
Features:
- Class browser for .NET components: it enables you to browse the meta data, IL resources, instructions and .XML documentation found in a .NET assembly.
- The program supports query expressions and other concepts implemented in C# 3.5. This feature can be enabled by selecting View – Options – Dissasembler – Optimization – “NET 3.5”.
- Remembers Assembly Lists: at first run, the program will enable you to choose a default set of assemblies. The list of assemblies will be stored in the Reflector.cfg file and automatically loaded next time you start the program.
- Allows you to create multiple assembly lists and switch between them through the File – Open List dialog. To change the set of default assemblies you have to delete all the assemblies from the list (DEL) and use the refresh command (F5).
- Reflector resolves assembly references by first searching the local path next to the assembly holding the reference and then falls back to the cache directories defined in the Reflector.cfg file.
- Reflector will search the Global Assembly Cache only if you add "%SystemRoot%Assembly" to the list of cache directories.
- Assembly version numbers are ignored by default when resolving type and member references. Side-by-side versioning can be enabled in the options dialog. However this is not recommended.
