Cppcheck: Analyze your C/C++ code under the scope to detect errors, warnings, memory leaks and other problems

Cppcheck is a powerful tool that can help you create C/C++ applications since it can analyze your code to detect errors, memory leaks, buffer overrun and other issues.

Any file you load into the program will be scanned. If any errors are detected you can filter the shown results using various criteria such as portability, warnings, errors, style warnings and so on.

Also, Cppcheck lets you quickly go to the problematic line codes by double-clicking on the item which will open it in Notepad by default. However, you can choose to open it with a different program from Cppcheck’s preferences.

Moreover, it is possible to use 64-bit or Unix encoding for running the check process but this can also be done using 32-bit Unicode or ANSI.

The application bundles other interesting tools such as a statistics view for your code and a quick space to write down information quickly.
