Sun Java JRE - Run Java applications

The Java 2 Runtime Environment is an implementation of the Java Virtual Machine, runtime class libraries and Java application launcher that allows running Java based applications.

Sun Java JRE is designed to allow the execution of Java programs, not for developing them and does not contain any development tools like compilers and debuggers.

Sun Java JRE 7 Update 21 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. Sun Java JRE is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
