ComTrace - Serial ports Monitor.

ComTrace is a serial ports monitor product for technicians, engineers and software developers designing or debugging serial port related projects.It is a valuable tool for troubleshooting RS-232 communication between two devices. It allows you to set up a 'pass-through' connection between them using two serial ports on your PC. You can watch and log the traffic between the devices.
Because ComTrace is a 100% software product, it is especially suited to inspecting host side protocol.

How to use it?
1.Run ComTrace
2.Select serial port name(e.g. COM1)
3.Run serial port application program that you want to debug(e.g. Windows HyperTerminal)
4.debug......(e.g. press any key in Windows HyperTerminal, then watch the data that is captured.)
5.Close application program(e.g. Windows HyperTerminal)
6.Close ComTrace
Notice: You must operate by the order, only support Win2000 and WinXp(32 bit) system!

ComTrace 1.00 is licensed as Shareware for the Windows operating system / platform. ComTrace is provided as a free to try download for all software users (Shareware).
