FireBreath is a framework that allows easy creation of powerful browser plugins. FireBreath aims to be a cross-platform plugin architecture, targeting:

- NPAPI browsers:
Gecko/Firefox
Google Chrome
Apple Safari
Opera (usually)
- ActiveX Control hosts:
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8

The hardest part of learning any new system is getting started; knowing that, the Firebreath dev team is pleased to introduce the fbgen.py tool. fbgen.py will create a blank project for you based on parameters that you give it. You will still have the liberty to modify all those things, but it will get you started faster.

NOTE: To learn how to use FireBreath please read the documentation offered by the developers.

Requirements:

- Visual Studio (2005 or later)
- python 2.5, 2.6, or 2.7(only required for initial project generation)

FireBreath 1.7.0 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. FireBreath is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
