Since ExcelliPrint can be updated (when necessary) on a central server or PC, a single change instantly affects all printers in use. Unlike hardware solutions, ExcelliPrint Standard can print to any Windows-based PCL printer regardless of the manufacturer or model. So when an old printer is replaced or a new model or brand is added, printer-independent ExcelliPrint is always compatible: there is no need to update the software or look for a replacement DIMM or SIMM.
Both ExcelliPrint Standard and Premium eliminate the need for specialized, expensive IPDS printers by allowing IPDS print jobs to be printed on common Windows-based printers.
