JAP / JonDo - Surf the web without being observed

JonDo is a free software that allows you to hide your identity while surfing the web. Any web browser request will be processed first by the JonDo program, meaning that you will be assigned a different IP address by the JonDonym system when visiting sites. Neither the requested server nor any observer will be able to track your web browsing activity back to your PC.

Many users of the JonDo program will use the same static IP address so no one can determine which user accessed which website. JAP is using a Mix Cascade which sends your data through multiple Mix stations where it is encrypted and mixed with data of other users. Your privacy won’t be revealed to anyone, not even to other users or the operator of the AN.ON service or any other intermediary service.

The latest version of JAP offers assistance for properly setting it up if you are a new user; automatically detects connection issues and setup errors and finds viable solutions to fix them. The user interface has been improved and is easier to control. The enhanced anti-censorship function allows you to access parts of the internet that are blocked in your country or region.

JAP newest version has improved processing speed for updating and processing network information, currently being one of the best choices for internet surfing anonymity.
