Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor is a powerful wireless network security audio tool. The program lets network administrators check the security of a company’s wireless network by performing an audit of accessible wireless networks.

Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor attempts to recover the original WPA/WPA2-PSK text passwords by analyzing a dump of network communications, to test the security level of the wireless network, using cost-efficient GPU acceleration technologies. The program runs off-line and cannot be detected by the Wi-Fi network being analyzed.

In order to find network passwords, the program performs advanced dictionary attacks with customizable variations to discover weak passwords consisting of phrases and words in spoken languages. Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor ensures the widest coverage by making hundreds of mutations to every word.

Attacks can also be simulated from the inside by importing saved password hashes automatically as retrieved by Elcomsoft Proactive System Password Recovery in order to establish the level of the wireless network’s security against insider attacks.
