Smart Battery Workshop - Notebook/Laptop battery diagnostic and repair

Smart Battery Workshop is a diagnostic and repair utility for notebook/laptop batteries. The program allows read-only access to the data listed in Smart Battery DataSpecification Revision 1.1 through the LPT/SMBus adapter straight from battery terminals (57 parameters). BitFlags are decoded into human readable text.

Smart Battery Workshop enables you to reset Smart Battery EEPROM to its initial values, erasing all data of previous battery usage except for ManufactureDate which will become the current system date. If any Permanent Failure Flags are found they will be erased, unlocking the battery in case it was locked. These actions will grant the user a “new” battery. All of these changes are made through a single button click.

Features:

- Capable of reading and writing content of EEPROM chips most frequently used in batteries.
- Can read Battery Data from EEPROM dump file for supported chips.
- Capable of analyzing batteries and select cells for battery packs (only with Battery Analyzer included).
