Helix - More than just a bootable live CD

Helix is a fast and powerful live CD originally based on Knoppix that provides all necessary tools for live forensics, incident response and e-discovery.
Helix is a customized version of Ubuntu Linux, allowing you to boot into a Linux environment containing customized Linux kernels, hardware detection and a large number of applications designed for Incident Response and Forensics.

Helix does not touch the host computer in any way and is forensically safe. It will not auto mount swap space or attached devices.
Helix provides mainly Incident Response & Forensics tools and addresses itself to users with solid knowledge of Incident Response and Forensics techniques.

Helix 2008 2.0 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. Helix is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
