IrfanView - Good image viewer and converter
IrfanView is a basic image viewer and image editor with full support for all the popular graphic file formats such as BMP, DIB, JPEG, GIF, animated GIF, PNG, PCX, multipage TIFF, TGA and many others.

- Supports multiple graphic file formats.
- Multilingual support is enabled.
- Provides an option for thumbnail/preview.
- Slideshows can be saved as EXE/SCR files or burned to CDs.
- Displays EXIF/IPTC/Comment text in Slideshow, Fullscreen etc.
- Support is enabled for Adobe Photoshop Filters.
- Fast directory view.
- Batch conversion with image processing is supported.

Very fast
Batch rename and conversion is wonderful
Gets better with every version
Longstanding piece of software, well proven and stable.
Can be loaded onto computers even if you do not have administrative rights.
The ability to only undo one thing historically is not so much a fault as one of the reasons it works so fast but if you need something like that then you should use photoshop
Its ease of use and many short cut keys are so handy.
I have been using it since 2000 and it just keeps on getting better.
IRFAN you are a star, I wish all software could be as good as this. Keep up the good work. If he starts to charge for it I would not hesitate to buy it. I use it almost every day.

Summary
If you do not have Irfanview as your default photo viewer and handler then it is long over due that you should.Its ease of use and many short cut keys are so handy.
I have been using it since 2000 and it just keeps on getting better.
