Pixia is the English version of a popular Japanese painting and retouch software for full color graphics.

Pixia supports layers, masks and many other graphic editing functions.You can use your own customized brush tips and even use an image file as a brush tip to create unique effects.

Pixia's user-friendly interface is suitable for beginners as well as experts. Pixia supports the most common editing techniques and presents a user friendly interface.

Note: Since the interpretation of the software from Japanese to English was handled by non-native English speakers, some expressions or terms may not be correct and/or accurate.

Pixia features:

- Pixia is a painting tool made exclusively for full color graphics.
- Maximum graphic size: 10240 x 10240 dots (Note: this depends on RAM capacity.)
- Number of Layers: As many as memory lasts.
- Peripheral devices applicable: TWAIN32 devices. Printers made to use for Microsoft Windows. Tablets (Wacom, Oce-Japan)

Requirements:

- 32 megabytes of RAM or over (As much as possible)
- Super VGA monitor (with the screen resolution set to at least 800 x 600)
- High Color or True Color (16bit/24bit/32bit) Pixia does not work on 16 or 256 color environment.
- Optional: Pressure sensitive tablets (WACOM, Oce-Japan)

Pixia 4.80b is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. Pixia is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
