WebSundew Publisher's Description
Extracting of data from an HTML based source for using it in a processed form is usually a complex process for users, who are really babes in the woods when it comes to programming. WebSundew is a piece of software to make a fresh start on the problem. The program allows you to work with web content without using any scripts. Say, you need to integrate an HTML-based data source into your business document? The step-by-step template wizard of WebSundew can do it as easily as falling off a log.
This web-data managing tool allows you to unite various web-enabled applications into a single point of reference without changing them. Your co-workers and business partners can be easily linked through existing web HTML-based applications. Data aggregation and market intelligence are the fields of WebSundew application, which can be of great interest for a variety of commercial or state enterprises.
You can extract unstructured HTML data from any web source and save it to a CSV, XML or spreadsheet format. Before this you only need to use the template wizard, which will create your template for extraction in a chainlike way. First, the wizard records your web navigation. Second, you specify the root element of the first page that returns required information. Then, you pick on output file dimensions and the elements that link your current page to the page to be extracted. Finally, you configure the data output format and run the extraction. Thus, the whole procedure takes far less time than a tiring cut-and-paste process. WebSundew features a built-in web browser and automatic iteration for linked pages. What's more, it allows you to use macros for automatic logging into sites and data extraction. Its user friendly and clearly structured interface is another advantage of this delicate data retriever.
