PuTTY is a free terminal emulator application for Win32 platforms that can be used as a SSH, Telnet and RLogin client and as a serial console client.

PuTTy allows connecting Windows clients to a host or terminal system through the SSH, Telnet and Rlogin network protocols or serial connections. As an advanced terminal application PuTTY enables you to connect to multiple sources and even supports connections through a proxy server.

Features:

- Easy to install and configure thanks to its user-friendly interface.
- The logging feature saves every keystroke and terminal response in real-time, allowing you to save or send the log file for analysis.
- Hosts and preferences can be saved for later use.
- Allows full control over the SSH encryption key and protocol version.
- SCP and SFTP clients are under the names of "pscp" and "psftp" respectively for command-line.
- Public-key authentication is enabled.
