Ettercap is a software suite for man in the middle attacks on LAN. Ettercap features sniffing of live connections, content filtering on the fly, passive lan scanning, data injection, dhcp spoofing, port stealing and many other interesting tricks.
Ettercap supports active and passive dissection of many protocols (even ciphered ones) and includes many feature for network and host analysis.
All this feature are integrated with a easy-to-use and pleasureful ncurses/gtk interfaces.
