Json.NET: Access and edit JSON formatted data, and perform .NET object serialization

Json.NET is a robust .NET framework that lets you perform .NET object serialization, access and edit JSON formatted data and bundles support for multiple versions of .NET Framework.

Designed as a versatile solution capable of meeting the demands of a large number of users, the application deploys components for several .NET Framework versions, specifically .NET 2, 3.5, 4 and 4.5, but also bundles support for Silverlight, Mono, Windows Store, Windows Phone and Xamarin.

Developers can easily convert .NET objects to JSON thanks to the built-in JSON serializer, plus there’s support for JSON Schema and BSON as well. The tool allows you to assign attributes such as JsonProperty and JsonIgnore to classes and offers serialization of circular references and multidimensional arrays.

On top of that, Json.NET can be used to create, edit, and parse JSON formatted data, and JSON Path makes it possible to run simple syntax queries in JSON.
