Get IP Publisher's Description
Get IP shows hostname, IP address and port when connected to the net
Get IP is a small application that will easily show your hostname, IP address and port when you are connected to the Internet. This information can also be copied to the clipboard for future use.
Many people can make use of Get IP, especially gamers. How many times have you needed to give someone your IP address so you can play a game online? Probably a number of times.
The usual method to get your IP address is to either run 'winipcfg.exe' included within Windows, or to visit a website which displays your IP address. Now, with Get IP you can view your hostname, IP address and port by simply
loading Get IP.
What's more, you get make Get IP automatically copy to clipboard either your hostname, IP address or port, and then close the program, so in a flash you have the information you want about your Internet connection.
Features:
· There isn't an interface that could be any easier than this. The main interface shows your local hostname and IP addresses and nothing else. All of the programs features and options are accessable from the menus so they are out of the way when you don't need them.
· Get IP will happily sit in your System Tray so it is out of the way while you work. If you want it to appear again, simple double click it.
· When Get IP is in your System Tray you can easily view your hostname and/or IP addresses by simply hovering your cursor over the icon.
· You can also perform all the programs main actions by right clicking on the System Tray icon.
· Get IP is also highly configurable. You can change more or less everything with Get IP from within the options menu.
