BitPim - Manipulate data on many CDMA phones
BitPim is a free content manager for CDMA phones, compatible with a wide variety of manufacturers such as LG, Samsung, Sanyo and many others.
With BitPim you can view, edit, and transfer data, including the PhoneBook, WallPapers, Calendar, RingTones and FileSystem functionalities for most Qualcomm CDMA chipset-based phones.
BitPim is free to download and use by anyone. Managing the functionalities mentioned above varies from one phone to another.
Usage instructions
In order to use BitPim you will need a cable to connect the cellphone to your computer. Phone manufacturers provide detailed information for the cable on their official websites.
For Windows users, a driver will be required for the cable (usually supplied by the cable’s manufacturer or available online). If you use Mac or Linux operating systems, the drivers are almost certainly included in their distributions.
At first run, BitPim will attempt to automatically detect your phone. Some mobile phones will not support the auto detection feature, such as the case of cellphones connected via Bluetooth. If automatic detection fails you can specify your phone model or repeat the detection process by clicking on the detect button on the toolbar or selecting “Edit -> Detect Phone” from the menu.
To transfer data from your phone into BitPim just press the “Get Data” button on the toolbar or select “Data” -> “Get Phone Data” from the menu. Then you can select to transfer all the data or just some of the files. If you have one or more options disabled, this means that BitPim does not support those functions on your cellphone
