Use Optimal Archive to easily manage zip files as windows folders. See the contents of the zip by selecting the zip folder in the tree. Drag and Drop files and launch applications inside the zip folder.


Color code ZIP, RAR, ARJ and TAR files for easy differentiation. Create self extracting zip files and divide larger zip files into smaller transportable zip or self extracting files.


Use third party FTP applications integrated with the explorer tree (i.e. Internet Neighborhood from Deerfield) and Optimal Desktop and manage remote FTP sites as folders inside of Optimal Desktop.
