PyMCA: Software collection for X-ray fluorescence data analysis

Software collection for X-ray fluorescence data analysis

PyMCA is a software collection including the vast majority of functions needed to perform X-ray fluorescence data analysis for end-users.

Developers can use the PyMCA Toolkit - a comprehensive set of Python tools – to analyze and visualize energy-dispersive Xray fluorescence data.

PyMCA’s plotting routines and GUI rely on the Qt and Qwt C++ libraries through PyQt and PyQwt – their Python bindings. However, you can use the data analysis routines separate from the GUI. Last, but not least PyMCA is also able to use SPEC shared memory for data acquisitions monitoring.
