Lexeme is a portable thesaurus, featuring an elegant, task driven interface. Designed to work with, rather than against you, a single objective applies - offer up an alternate word for inclusion in your document, allowing you to quickly get back to the task at hand. Its just that simple. For its data, Lexeme employs the Moby Words II list which provides a rich cache of synonyms and related terms. With over 32,000 root words, resulting in greater than 2.5 million cross linked lexemes, the average return per query is a truly herculean 83 words per cluster... For those who endeavor to add nuance to their vocabulary; Lexeme is an ideal choice. Lexeme runs stand alone out of the box with: no formal installation needed, zero 3rd party dependencies, will not touch your registry. Free upgrades for life.
