Crossing Cup Description
Crossing Cup - Fun 3D Soccer Game!
This fun little flash game lets you play a little soccer at any time. The overall concept is very simple, yet there are plenty of little details to master. Each game will take the shape of a full world cup tournament with 32 available teams. You can pick which country you want to play for and show a little bit of your personal loyalties in the game to give it that much more. The tournament play is relatively simple. You will be grouped with three other teams for the first round. You play each other for points based on wins and ties. A win is 3 points and a tie is 1. Your score will determine the rankings and positions of the various teams for the rest of the tournament. It will then switch to a simple playoff mode where the best team moves through. This continues until only one team is left.
The main aspect of the game is the soccer though. Crossing Cup focuses on sudden death corner kick goal attempts. You can play as the offense or the defense depending on order and rank. The offensive aspect is a two part game. You first have to use the arrow keys to aim your pass and then use the spacebar to win a traditional power bar game. How full the arrow is determines how hard you kick the ball. After the corner kick, you switch to the other player in front of the goal. The soccer ball's projected path will be shown and it is your job to take the few seconds that you have to position your player for the perfect shot. You have five possible options depending on where, when, and how you intercept the ball. You can use a strong volley kick, a tough header, an unexpected bicycle kick, a dive, or a chest hit down to a volley kick. Then you just have to aim the shot with the arrow keys so that you sneak it past the goalkeeper. Defense plays out in reverse with you watching your opponents move into position while you just make sure that your goalkeeper is positioned for a good block. This exchange will happen three times and then a winner will be declared.
