ASIO4ALL - Latest ASIO driver for WDM audio

ASIO4ALL is a hardware independent free ASIO driver for Windows Driver Model (WDM) audio devices.

Audio Stream Input/Output (ASIO) is a sound card driver protocol which uses an audio path connection from the user application straight to the sound card hardware, bypassing the intermediary layers of Windows OS software, thus providing a low-latency and high fidelity interface between the application and the sound card.

ASIO4ALL will not: replace or alter your existing sound card drivers, install kernel mode components that could make your system unstable, “overclock” or perform other operations on your audio hardware that could cause damage or lead to warranty void.

Installation requirements:

- ASIO4ALL works only on WDM compatible systems: Win 98SE/ME/2k/XP/MCE/2003/XP64 and Vista x86/x64 (32 and 64-bit versions).
- Your audio hardware must have a functional WDM driver installed (implicit under Windows 2000/XP/ Vista, not implicit under Windows 98SE/ME).

ASIO4ALL 2.9 is licensed as Freeware for the Linux operating system / platform. ASIO4ALL is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
