In 2005 Simpson got her film debut as Daisy Dukes on The Dukes of Hazzard, Simpson continued acting and was in the films Employee of the Month and Blonde Ambition. Simpson has since released her fourth album A Public Affair, which sold 101,000 copies sold in its first week.
