SplitView: A resource-friendly application that lets you split a large monitor system into multiple, smaller ones

SplitView is a small and easy to use tool that enables you to split a large monitor system into several ones. It runs unobtrusively in the system tray and you can access its settings window by double-clicking on the app’s tray icon.

From there it is possible to embed buttons for navigating left and right into each window, which let you quickly move apps to a different area of the desktop. SplitView can also be set to not add buttons to a specific list of programs.

The utility includes the option to add window menus or navigating to the left, right, up or down, as well as create a list of tools for which the menus remain unchanged. There are preset keyboard shortcuts for various actions, like disabling SplitView for specific apps, moving and resizing panels, restoring default settings and more.

Furthermore, there are various advanced parameters which you can use to move windows without resizing the, split the desktop horizontally in a user-defined number of equal parts and setting the app to auto-start with Windows among others.
