AprCalc Publisher's Description
A 'Four-Star Editors' Pick' from ZD-Net! Read the PCWorld.com review in their March 2001 issue! Rated 5-Stars at SuperShareware.com! A feature-rich mortgage amortization program with a polished user interface. Includes many new features and enhancements. Enter any three figures - the amount financed, payment term, interest rate, or payment amount - and AprCalc will compute the fourth. Does amortizations for fixed, variable, Canadian, biweekly, and other types of mortgages, and compounds daily, weekly, bi-weekly, half-monthly, four-weekly, bi-monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Annual subtotals can be displayed and printed. Professional quality printouts can be created, and registered users can customize the program with their own logo and text. Supports APR calculation including odd days interest, closing costs, and points. Scenarios can be saved in files and password protected (40-bit). A variety of prepayment options let you compare effects on payments, compute the amount necessary to shorten the term to a specified number of payments, display how much interest would be saved, and more. You can calculate break-even dates for discount points on mortgage loans to determine how long you'll need to own the house to come out ahead. You can attach 'rich text' notes to any scenario for reference purposes, drag and drop files, and display multiple loans for side-by-side comparison. Wizards provide step-by-step instructions, and tooltips are used to provide formats, examples. Automatically checks for new versions. Supports infinite undo/redo, auto-save, animated 3D graphs, payment grid (rate vs. principal), 'Tip of the Day', and export to Excel (XLS) or comma-separated (CSV) files. Advanced logging provides detailed debugging info for very fast bug fixes. Supported continuously, by the same author, since 1993, and provides automatic conversion from all previous versions of AprCalc. Install/un-install via InstallShield, and a detailed help file is included.
