Both the Safeguard and Backup Files features make sure that you work under extremely safe conditions. Private documents can also be encoded and secured: you can save them to a proprietary COD file format using powerful 256-bit encryption technology.

The Atlantis AutoCorrect and Spellcheck-As-You-Type features combine with a unique typing assist, the Atlantis Power Type, to dramatically simplify your word processing life.

To install Atlantis on a memory flash drive:
· Launch Atlantis Word Processor (if Atlantis is not running yet) on your computer as usual, and choose the Tools | Options... command. Click the Save to File... button, and save the settings to the home folder of Atlantis on your hard drive (the settings filename should be Atlantis.ini).
· Copy the home folder of Atlantis (by default, "C:Program FilesAtlantis") to your memory flash drive

After this, Atlantis is ready to be used from this memory flash drive. Just connect this memory flash drive to a PC, locate your memory flash drive as a new logical drive in Windows Explorer, and double-click the Atlantis.exe file that can be found on this new drive.

Atlantis would use the settings stored on a memory flash drive. If you adjust these settings while using Atlantis from a memory flash drive, Atlantis would save the adjusted settings back to the memory flash drive.

Note when launched from a memory flash drive, Atlantis never writes its current settings to the Windows Registry.

Atlantis can be also installed on a U3-smart memory flash drive.
