SmarterGuard Basic - A powerful yet simple video security suite

SmarterGuards can be used as a video security system to guard your home or small business, office, parking area, your sleeping child, pets or anything else you want to guard 24/7 in a smarter way. Further it is a convenient multimedia suite.
Simply connect a camera to your computer, install the software and you have a low cost and highly effective video surveillance system. It also supports network cameras and even 360 degree cameras! You can mark the secured areas by simply dragging a rectangle using the mouse, and SmarterGuard works well with wireless networks so you can connect your cameras without messing around with lots of cables!
When SmarterGuard detects motion in the guarded area, it can raise an alarm sound, send an SMS, directly call you, E-mail captured images, start broadcasting, and/or record activity, in any combination. You can also access those recordings remotely from anywhere in the world.
The surveillance desktop of SmarterGuard provides a single-screen view of all your secured locations. It gives you a quick way for you to see what all your cameras are seeing, and is a view that you can customize to best suite the way you work. The simple interface makes using the program as easy as can be.
The most unique feature is the technology: SmarterGuard uses our patent-pending video object extraction technology. Unlike other systems that can be fooled by slowly-moving objects, SmarterGuard does not simply compare the snapshots taken by the camera. Instead, our special motion detection is based on a certain noise-tolerant comparison to a background model. This model is analyzed from all the previous video data and represents accurately the guarded scene in no-change case. Therefore our motion detection can detect even the slowest motion for highest possible security. And, this background model is learnt incrementally so that it guarantees high efficiency of our system.

SmarterGuard Basic 3.0 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. SmarterGuard Basic is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
