iuVCR - A small utility that lets record TV shows as AVI or WMV files

iuVCR is a simple and small application that lets you record any TV show as a WMV or AVI video file. The setup requires you perform a few configurations such as choosing which filters you want to install.

In the functional layout, the app lets you enter a name and an output folder for the recording. You can also set the app to switch to a different hard drive if the current one runs out of available storage space.

Controls are provided for playing, pausing and stopping the recording session, and you can also set the current recording task to stop after a certain amount of time. Moreover, users can set the video frame size and rate, and select the device and video compression codec.

iuVCR bundles several customizable audio parameters, such as recording level, sound device and codecs. A few video quality settings allow you to improve the recording, thus you can tweak contrast, brightness and saturation, as well as select the video source.
