Streamripper for Winamp - Record MP3 from online streams

Streamripper for Winamp is an open-source Winamp plug-in that allows you to connect to streaming MP3 servers and record tracks on your computer as separate files. You can activate Streamripper in Winamp’s preferences after you install it.

Instructions:

- After you install and activate Streamripper for Winamp go to shoutcast.com and click on a stream.
- If the stream is not playing in Winamp click Play. A notice displaying the following information :“Press start to rip “http://something:port” should appear on top of Streamripper.
- Click on Start to begin the recording process.

Note: If you have a slow Internet connection it’s best to use Streamripper “relay server”. Without it, the program will create an additional connection to the stream that is currently playing and double the bandwidth usage.

Streamripper for Winamp 1.64.6 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. Streamripper for Winamp is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
