AudioExtract - Extracts audio from movie files

This is an utility that extracts audio from movie files


AudioExtract was developed as a program which will help you in extracting.  It operates in two modes: individual and batch.


The individual mode only allows one movie file to be processed at a time, but it will allow more control over what the audio file will be called.


The batch mode allows multiple movies to be processed automatically.  The audio file can be generated in several different audio formats.


The program uses QuickTime to open the movies and to save in the various audio formats, consequently formats not supported by QuickTime will not be read or written.


AudioExtract features :


- Opens any movie file that the QuickTime library can read (includes all MOV and some AVI and audio files).

- Save the audio as: AIFF, Windows Wave, SUN AU

- Specify the settings for each audio format, e.g. codec, quality

- Extract multiple movies at a time using batch processing feature

- Extract audio from the movies made with your digital camera (or otherwise) when the video footage doesn't add any value to your memorabilia

Limitations:


- will only extract the audio from 3 movies before quitting
