avi.NET - Enables to convert DivX or Xvid to AVI

avi.NET is a free application that allows you to load MPEG1 (VCD) and MPEG2 (DVD, SVCD, HDTV) videos and convert them to the popular AVI format.

avi.NET, but also other AVI converters need the correct type of VOB file, meaning a ready processed VOB file, not a RAW VOB. That means you need to have used rip.NET or DVD Decrypted in IFO mode and have ripped the correct program chain.

To work properly, avi.NET requires XviD Video Codec 1.1 or higher and/or DivX Video Codec 6.0.3 or higher installed before using avi.NET and .NET Framework 2.0.

For avi conversion, the user must load a ripped VOB file, select options such as size, bitrate and CQ and then convert it to AVI. All AVI files (DivX and XviD) created with avi.NET are SAP friendly. avi.NET provides multiple options and settings that allow you to customize multiple aspects of AVI conversion, such as conversion method, size, bitrate, CQ, subtitles, screen size, filters and codec (DivX or XviD).
