SUPER - A GUI to ffmpeg, mencoder, mplayer

SUPER stands for Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer – a graphical user interface to ffmpeg, mencoder, mplayer, ffmpeg2theora and the theora/vorbis RealProducer plugin that offers support for a large array of input/source file formats to play or encode without additional software required.

SUPER supports the following formats: 3gp, asf, avi (DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, MSmpeg4 and others), fli, flc, flv, MPEG1, MPEG2, mov, mp4, ogg, qt, rm, str, swf, viv, vob and wmv video formats; ac3, amr, mp2, mp3, mp4, ogg, ra, and wma audio formats.

Features:

- Capable of converting to almost all supported formats.
- When converting a file the program offers a large number of audio codec selections.
- The basic video parameters (size, fps and video bitrate) are very easy to configure.
- Essential audio parameters, namely sampling rate, number of channels and audio bitrate are very easy to setup while converting files.
- Batch file processing with drag and drop is enabled.

Requirements:

- At least 1800 MHz Intel Pentium4 processor or equivalent. (64-bit CPU not supported)
- 512MB of RAM or more.
- 20GB of free Hard disk space or more.
- 1024 x 768 video resolution or larger.
- 32,000-color video or more.
- IE 5.5 or later.
- Internet connection.

SUPER 2012 Build 54 is licensed as Freeware for the Windows operating system / platform. SUPER is provided as a free download for all software users (Freeware).
